It was quite late in the afternoon once we’d found and checked into a guest house. There was not much open in the lovely small Chinatown. Luckily this place was and despite me being somewhat dubious with there being a best curry mee in town sign we went for the recommendation of owner and plumped for curry mee.
For me everything about the curry mee was right. Great colour on the broth which hinted at a good depth of flavour and good heat and it certainly had that. Great texture on the noodles and packed with good things; chicken on the bone, fish balls, tofu puffs and something no curry mee should be without- half a boiled egg.
All washed down with lychee green tea, another excellent Malaysian soft drink.
