Dining at Bar X Grill David always promises to be special. Perched on the 1st floor above sister-eatery Cafรฉ-Bistrot David, it exuded a quiet confidence with its comprehensive, well-conceptualized menu offerings, the use of the best quality ingredients available in the markets, to all-round careful, competent cooking in the kitchen.
Service here was disciplined and highly-polished - as one had come to expect of the proprietor, veteran KL restaurateur David Chin, with his no-nonsense approach to offering great food & service to all who enter the premises of his eateries.

Toasted sourdough wedges were perfect vessels for conveying those fatty, sinful squares of marrow into oneโs hungry mouth.

๐๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ด ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฆ๐ต๐ต๐ฆ - French crepes with caramelized sugar-butter sauce, orange sauce, Cointreau and vanilla ice-cream.
As with any of the eateries in David Chinโs stable, never a bad meal here. This is one of the few places where, as one finishes a meal, one is already planning for the next visit.
Over here in KL with Bar X Grill David, just like its sister-outlet, Beach Street Bistrot in Penang, they set the benchmark for dining excellence in the respective city each of them is located in.
