Korean Day at Bayshore Hospital [Holmdel]

Okay, one shouldn’t have high expectations for this, so let’s just say that the Korean restaurants in the area have nothing to worry about. I got the bibimbap bowl, assembled by a woman who had no clue what was in it. The beef tasted vaguely Asian, the kimchi was mildly pickled cabbage, and the roasted broccoli and pickled onions were, well, roasted broccoli and pickled onions. I didn’t remind her she forgot the rice and Sriracha mayo.

As always, a reminder that ethnic food (whatever that is) is best when prepared by someone who is familiar with it. Duh!

I hope you were just visiting!
