Kiwi lovers rejoice!

I have at least one every day, usually with breakfast. I prefer the golden kind, but so far have not taken the extra step of eating the fiber-rich skin. Meh.

We go through periods of heavy kiwi consumption followed by kiwi droughts. Mrs. ricepad likes to cut them in half and scoop out the flesh, whereas I just eat ‘em whole, although sometimes I’ll take a scrubbie to them under running water to remove some of the fuzz. One time when she saw me taking a bite, Mrs. ricepad opined, "Ugh…that’'s like biting a gorilla’s balls." To which I replied, “I wouldn’t know, but I learn something about you every day!”
