My wife and I ran a wine business and have tasted through a lot of wine. We’re fairly new to costco and haven’t tried their branded bottles. On a whim, my wife picked up a bottle and we were both shocked with the quality, my sense was that it could hold it’s own in a blind tasting of $20-$35 bottles. I’m not going to write a full-fledged tasting note, but we both thought it was more burgundy than ca chard and not overly oaky. For $8, give it a try!

Will give the chard a go. We bring home their Prosecco frequently.
they have a couple of chards, we’ve only tried the sonoma one.
Wow, thanks for the tip. Always looking for chard that doesn’t leave splinters.

I had to read this a couple of times as I got in my head you meant chard as in Swiss chard. I was very curious how a Swiss chard wine would taste.

Found those at my Costco today, $8.88 each. Bought a few for the holidays to gift.
In my home state, Costco can’t sell alcohol. I’m sure the law will never change.
