I enjoyed an old school BLT from Jean’s .

Neat coffee shop called The Daily Grind on Queen St, which has quite a few British baked goods and specialties.

Kincardine is the one site for Highland Games in Ontario, and its Scottish heritage shows up around town year-round. The Kincardine Scottish Festival takes place July 5-7, 2024.

Embro is another town that has Highland Games, but less interesting coffee shops, and no lakefront!

We tried the Bakewell Slice, Rhubarb Crumb Cake and Apple Carrot Cake from The Daily Grind.

West Coast Catering also looked good. We stopped inside, decided we wanted an old school diner lunch instead at Jean’s.
