By far, the best meal we had in KW and, possibly, the best meal of that three week trip to the States.

Stock Island, The Docks Restaurant and Raw Bar. Absolutely amazing seafood, cocktails, and unpretentious atmosphere. We stumbled upon this place last December while biking. We loved the guy at the seafood market next door so much that we came back for dinner. The BEST dinner we had in Key West! Red snapper so fresh that it practically flopped off my plate back into the water.

I loved this place. It is not fine dining, though, if that’s what you’re after.

Louie’s Backyard for high end. Salute on the Beach for a more casual and fun place with superb seafood. Siboney for Cuban. I agree with small_h about Hogfish. Go at lunch. i’t;s jammed at night.
