Stopped into Karbach Brewing Company last weekend for lunch with my usual posse. The weather was so nice that we sat outside at one of the few dining tables. They also have a separate “bier garten” out back that was hosting birthday party. I had two of their seasonal specials that were good, but for which I wouldn’t venture too far out of my way. Between us we had the Pickle Pot which contained various house pickled veggies. I thought bit was great, but I’m a pickler myself, so I may be biased for.
We also had the Korean Fried Chicken which was excellent, and a Mac and Cheese and a Shrimp and Grits, neither of which appear on the current online menu. The Korean Chicken were spicy and crispy boneless chicken bites. Yum.
I thought the Mac and Cheese and the Shrimp and Grits were both extremely bland by comparison, but there’s no doubt it’s because they were!
I would recommend popping in on a nice day. You could do worse.
Oh, and they also have a Charcuterie Plate!
