Kabul Castle Kabab in georgetown

Tried this relatively new (one year) Afghani kabab place in Georgetown, Kabul Castle Kabab. It was good, especially the salmon and the bread (but the lamb chops and lamb kabab were good too). I want to go back and try the lamb shank palau. I wrote about it here: » Kabul Castle Kabob in Georgetown, the Review! (dcfud.com).

Looking good! It’s always nice to have a joint like this around. Any other choices for sides?

Veggie options: Spinach, eggplant, chickpeas, and mixed vegetables (I didn’t see this one that day). Entrees served with rice, salad and a veggie. You can also order 2 kinds of sambosas, hummus, bolani, or manto. Not aushak though. You can see the eggplant (side), salmon, and mantoo in this picture:

The mantoo looks very serious!

It was good but the salmon was the best dish of a good meal.
