We’ll be there this summer and will need to have breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Where should we go to eat?
I’m going next week; did you find anything interesting?
Currently in Juneau. We were advised by locals to cook for ourselves and use Jerry’s Meat and Seafood for great salmon, black cod and halibut (both fresh and smoked). That said, I enjoyed two good lunches. Chicken fried steak and eggs at Sandpiper cafe (downtown) and Happy Belly Bowl at Zerelda Bistro (sticky rice , cabbage slaw and fried pork belly) near Mendenhall glacier. Prices are high but portions generous.
I’m about to catch an uber to Charles DeCaul, but you can find details by searching"Juneau" on my blog. Go to the sandpiper but ask them not to put tomatoes on your corned beef hash. Donna’s for breakfast, Twisted Fish, the Hangar if you’re not soaking wet. Tracy’s Crab Shack.
Thank you both!
