Japanese New Year Traditions: a family's story

Well worth the read: the New Year’s traditions and history of a Japanese family in Seattle, from the early 1900’s, through the WWII internment, up to the multi–generational celebration they hold today.

Thanks, it was a nice read, didn’t know this part about the camps in US during the world war.

I would like to try osechi ryori if given the chance.
