I’m a fan of Mascalzone, some of the best Italian in town IMO and I don’t believe it has caught on. The Italian who owns the two locations has locations in London also. Twice when we’ve been there Italian natives have come in for the first time nearly in tears at the food and chatting astonished in Italian with the staff. I know those folks were experiencing a taste of home.
