ISO restaurant near Orpheum Theater [Boston, MA]

We have tix for a concert at the Orpheum Theater tomorrow night. Any and all recs. would be appreciated. Closer to Theater (10 Hamilton Place) is best. Honestly when I bought the tix my mind was telling me the Orpheum is where the Opera House. Good thing I checked ! TIA.

Tons of stuff in that area, at all sorts of price points. I’ve had good experiences recently at JM Curley, Yvonne’s, and Somaek/Temple Records.

Thanks, Adam.
Since it’s a work day i’m looking to be as close to the Orpheum as possible with a quick supper vs relaxed dinner. I found Mast at 40 Province St. Any Onions been there ?

First I’ve heard of it but the photos of the pizza in Google reviews look great. Let us know how it works out!

My picky friends from Italy really like the pizza at Mast.

My sister just went to Growl Growl in Winter St and enjoyed it. Big spicy mala bowls. I don’t know if everything is spicy, but it does seem to be what’s popular.

I’d also throw Haley Henry into the mix if you’re ok with small plates and charcuterie boards as a meal (I am VERY ok with this but I know not everyone shares my love of snack dinners). The wines are great and the staff & owner are so warm. Every time I leave there I ask myself why I don’t go more often.

Thanks for your ideas. We got a late start, never good. Mast didn’t look open. that end of Province St was dark. Short on time we ended up at Roxanne’s https://www.roxannesboston.com on Beacon St. We got the last table, ordered 2 smash burgers - two patties, chipotle mayo, american cheese, caramelized onions, seeded bun with parmesan shoestring fries. Thoroughly enjoyed, went off to Orpheum. In short serviceable option, nice waitstaff, turns out it is connected to Emmet’s Pub next door.
