I know, I’ve had hot pot before. Most recently in LIC, but I don’t feel like traveling.
But are these not two very different meals? I know they both involve dipping into hot broth, but apart from that?
I’d love to find great shabu shabu, or even good shabu shabu since I probably will not know the difference between good and great. Or sukiyaki.
And that’s the draw. Yes, they are different. But maybe if you’re in the mood for pasta, you could have lo mein or linguine fra diavolo and be equally happy.
