Hello Hungry Onion Community, it’s been a long time since I’ve visited the boards… but now I have am ISO something specific & wanted to see if HO can help. I’m working on pulling together a food event and part of it will be highlighting different kinds of dumplings from across Asian. I’ve got plenty of sources for certain types of dumplings already, but I’m looking for a source for khuushuur (Mongolian) / shabhaley (Tibetan) hand pies to round out the dumplings we will showcase. Or any other kind of dumpling hailing from Asia that is hard to find in the Bay Area. The event itself will be a “Dumpling War” within a Night Market in Oakland Chinatown. Vendors can be small home based biz, caterer, or anywhere along the spectrum to already established with restaurant(s). The event will take place Sat 8/31/24, 4 to 9p.
