This was my first visit to this popular neighborhood destination. The positive and memorable outcome was full of nice and interesting surprises. From the loud electrifying vibe, the funky and psychedelic dynamic decor/lighting, the delectable food and not to forget, the friendly service by our two amazing looking trans-gender servers!
We ordered the following dishes to share amongst our party of 5:
Ma Hor ( bite size pineapple topped with shrimp, chicken & peanut meatballs )
Thai Chicken Wings
Isaan Style Papaya Salad
Duck Confit in Red Curry
Chicken Green Curry
Fresh noodle Pad Thai with Tofu
Pad Si Ew with Prawns
Mango and Coconut Sticky Rice
Overall, the food was really well executed and presented. The exotic flavor profile, attractive, delightful and well balanced. Stand outs definitely go to the two stirred fry noodle dishes……the Pad Si Ew in particular, so darn good!! Smoky, aromatic and nicely caramelized!..one of the best ‘wok-hay‘ dishes I have come across recently. Only small let-down was the slightly over-cooked chicken wings and the occasional loud noise level!
Yeah I am a fan of their delivery offerings as well. Enjoy their duck curry. The other popular Thai places downtown have the same menus pretty much and taste similar imo. Haven’t been in person at any of their locations yet but have been eyeing the lamb curry dish.
Glad you enjoyed them Charles
