My diabetic prof chose Scotch as the least evil spirit.
So the least bad alcoholic drink is the one with the least alcohol. Thank heavens I have the NYT to explain that to me.

As I mentioned elsewhere, my PIC and I have reduced our alcohol intake quite significantly since the beginning of this year. I have less & less taste for more than 2 beers in one sitting (even in Germany!), almost always add a spritz to my wine, and my 4-5 martini nights are mos def over.
I sleep better, I feel better, and I worry ever so slightly less about colon cancer.
