I received a gift certificate for this place and decided to give it a try. (this is on 35sth in same plaza as House of Chong and Taliercio’s) I think it’s fairly new but I don’t honestly know much about the place. We called around 3pm requesting 6pm reservations and were offered 7pm, even better!
Arrived on time and there was a crowd of 20 people outside and another half dozen in the lobby. After a 10 minute wait we were seated, only bad thing is the noise. The background noise is off the charts. Other than that a typical strip mall restaurant dining room.
We ordered a variety of things and shared them, everything was quite tasty.
Fried artichokes with ricotta and pesto
Parpadella with mushrooms and filet Mignon,
Pasta fagiole- (I take this seriously and this one was seriously good)
Pizza with mixed greens prosciutto and shaved regiano. Delicious
Not pictured meat and cheese platter, was very nice. All in all the place is hopping and the food was very good, I will certainly be back. Very vast menu and the pizza crust is pretty good.
