Picked up a pint from mizzica gelato good stuff as usual (Yonge Eglinton seems to be not as busy) saw a few new flavors

Newish Gelateria on Danforth close to the Danforth Music Hall. I haven’t tried it yet.

Spotted this on my walk today at the Yorkville location of Laduree’. It’s not freshly scooped though from what I saw could be wrong

Ok picked up rose/isphan flavor for a guest coming over who’s a fan. 10.50+tax for a small cup hmmm (Cafe could Boulud charges 6$ for a scoop!)

With the heat wave in full swing decided to stock up on the gelato from mizzica. Took my cooler bag as well. Picked up a newish flavor as was requested by a friend. Wild Berry cheesecake will report back if I end up trying. Other were just the regular gelato flavors for home.
P.S. this was the Eglinton location which had no lineup during the lunch hour.

All right got to try the wild Berry cheesecake. Hmmm not for me as way too much going on. Luckily the person who asked is taking the pint home. 
I will enjoy the rest of flavors rest of the summer

Bar Ape has increased their price to $7 (including tax). Still my go to ice cream and their Arnold Palmer flavor last week (still available in take home cup) was a favorite of my family out of all the flavors we have tried

Annex Espresso Bar on Bathurst South of Bloor had Caffe di Crema (a creamy frozen coffee slush, also available at Eataly in the summer) and a strawberry granita available today. I’m a sucker for granitas. I liked it.
Palgong Tea has shaved ice these days. I haven’t tried it yet. The location in the Distillery was closed.
There is a bing su spot in Koreatown, Snow Day at 681 Bloor W (and 3 other locations) which I have not tried.

I tried Ruru Baked on Lansdowne at Bloor tonight.
This is their Fresh Mint Chip.
It’s a generous half cup scoop. Good mouth feel. It isn’t quite as minty as I like. I would be happy to try some other flavours, but I’m only averaging 3 scoops a summer lately. It was just under $7 for one scoop. They also have a mini scoop/ kiddy scoop option.

Just a reminder that Onyx usually features a fun soft serve, at least on weekends. Last weekend they featured brown butter lavender ice cream with roasted peaches and a brown butter crumble. Yummy.

Ordered coconut and white chocolate (coconut crunch) from ice creamonolgy as friends who were visiting enjoy these taste profiles. Again feedback is overtly sweet ( expected I guess as I found their other flavors to be similar) hmm I will try it soon as well. This getting close to the tail end of the season I would like to close on a high note I suppose so will pickup or order from one of the go to spots soon

Randomly tried this just today! Didnt take a picture but over all it was pretty good. Interesting flavors and size. Comes with 2 big freshly made waffle pieces. Tried the chrysanthemum lychee and matcha jasmine.
