[Hyannis, MA] Sea Street Cafe

We had breakfast here a couple of times during our stay in Hyannis. Definitely a café rather than greasy spoon diner.

There’s the usual range of breakfast goodies. One morning, we both had eggs and potatoes with ham for one of us and bacon for the other. The roast spuds were interesting as it was a mix of varieties, including those weird looking blue ones. One of us was more restrained the next day, just having a yoghurt parfait and toast. But the other plate was from the specials board – three pancakes, with sliced strawberries mixed into the batter. Stacked with a thick smear of sweetened lemon ricotta between each one. And, just to make sure you weren’t going short of calories, a lemon flavoured syrup to pour over. Absolutely delicious and I left wondering if there any chance of being hungry again by lunch. Or dinner.
