I am so very, very grateful to have been untouches, but this video is my town…and doesn’t really show how much my friends and neighbors have lost

So terrible, I’m sorry about your town. My friend lives in Punta Gorda, right across the street from the water. They evacuated and came home to find the lower level totally wiped out. They’d cut power and make exit cut outs for water which I guess helped avert further damage. Her son lives in Port Charlotte and he was less lucky. House is uninhabitable.

I’m so sorry for all the loss and devastation in your town. So hard to realize the impacts to so many displaced people and pets. I’m happy you’re safe and your residence is sound.
