Hi, a simple HTML question, is it possible to have an URL opening on a blank page rather than the same page like it’s doing it now?

Do you mean open a link in a new tab? If so, there’s a personal setting for that in your user preferences.
Thanks, I didn’t know for external link, it’s in the user settings. That’s a nice feature.
Back to the original question, I just found out you can use html code without mixing with auto feature in the tool menu.
Here is a test below, it works for me.
