Same temps here. I canceled appointments; no way I’m going out. Feel better soon!
I forgot exactly what it means, but it applies to a weather phenomenon of sudden change, not the storm itself.
Yeesh, that sounds like what I had. Copious quantities of chicken soup will help, so will lots of rest. Stay warm and hopefully you shake that off soon.
I am definitely availing myself of some of the many quarts of chicken corn soup I froze in September.
How long did it take you to feel better? This is extraordinarily long for me.
I had a fever that went up and down for 9 days, then very slowly started recovery. I’m still congested and fatigued, so not over it yet, but the upside is that my sense of smell and taste are back. My Dr. warned me the virus that’s around here takes a long time to get over. It took her 6 weeks to be completely recovered. It has been three weeks for me, so far. Sorry.
Oh god. That sounds awful. So sorry! I’m on day… 4 and I’m already beside myself with annoyance and boredom.
I haven’t even taken my temperature once in all this… I guess I better.
Flowers, new shoots and greenery. Thanks, @shrinkrap . It’s nice to see that not everywhere is encased in snow and ice. Just grumpy today. I’ve had enough of this winter.
ETA: A stiff shot of whiskey and another load of firewood stacked. At least we can stave off the cold, somewhat. A wood stove is a wonderful thing.
you are not yet
…was supposed to say if you are not yet!
You had it right the first time.
Getting there, slowly but surely.
Still so cold, ice and stained snow and frozen gutters and UGH.
Same. Saturday is going to be especially nippy, with a high of only -17C.
Are you feeling any better yet?
extended pout
Not really.
Very sorry to hear that, but not surprised. Chin up, you’ve done your hard week, improvements are slow but noticeable from now.
Record temperatures nearby. Random stonefruit trees in bloom.
ETA I hope you feel better soon @mig !
thanks. i escalated back to my PCP today and asked for different meds. got ‘em!
