Hot Chicken! Sisters and Brothers (SEA)

I had the chance to try the spicy fried chicken at Sisters and Brothers tonight. It was really good! I got the ‘insane’, which finally met my need for a good dose of heat. My companions both got the ‘hot’, which they felt was satisfyingly spicy. (You should probably only get the ‘insane’ if hot is never hot enough for you and you think sriracha might as well be ketchup) The meat was nice and juicy with a thin crust of breading on the skin. Fries were thick yet crispy and with a bit of spice. Smoked gouda mac & cheese was nice and creamy and I forgot to share. I didn’t try the coleslaw, but she who did enjoyed it. We also got a jar of pickles, which were good. It’s a dive-y little place on Albro Place on the border of Georgetown and Boeing field, two pieces of chicken and a side runs $14-15. They plan to bring back lunch in a few weeks (it was suspended due to limited production capability).
