I typed the one above that didn’t disappear by replacing the ampersand with an ampersand HTML code: & … I had no idea this forum supported all of this stuff. Kind of cool in a geeky sort of way.

We just had trouble making reaction emoji compatible with the knife and fork. As of now, we could have reactions, but use the default heart symbol instead of knife and fork, or knife and fork without reaction emojis. Presumably there is a way to make it work between those two, but we haven’t figured it out yet.

Ah - now that you point this out I can see where mix and match would be an issue on several levels. Not least of which, consistent look and feel. Sounds like you’d need to design some custom alternate reaction icons in the same style and create your own picker component. Probably not worth the effort! FWIW, even though I requested more, I think having heart emoji instead of knife+fork would be a downgrade, so if it comes to that then I retract my request!
