I’m confused. These outings are always discussed beforehand, publicly so, possibly nauseatingly so. I’m an unsocial prick, myself, so I never take the opportunity to finally make at least one friend – OK, reaching too far, at least one frenemy – on these excursions but they’re openly there for people to participate or not.
I’m a man of many complaints, but these Onions who dine do so openly, naked (as I imagine these gatherings) and unashamed.

They usually pop up right in this regional thread when one is in the planning. I’ve not timed my visits to the city well enough to coincide with any so far, and my next one is likely too short as well.
I’ve a problem that you don’t - I’ve no life so I read HO obsessively instead. These invitations to participate in group dinners pop up on random threads, or in threads of their own. I think a unified invitation thread is in order. I’ll start one now.
