Many Singaporeans are actually up-in-arms against this new self-proclaimed “hipster” hawker centre, as they felt the youngsters were “not respecting tradition” with their sometimes radical, revisionist take on old hawker favourites.
I came across this poster in Forty Hands, a cafe in Tiong Bahru recently.
