With the closure of kibo secret garden I feel there is a void for good quality sushi delivery downtown.
So far I have tried a bunch of spots but none have delivered (pun intended) the quality
Here is a list of the places I have tried and short feedback
J San so far rolls are ok I have tried a bunch of combos and rolls mostly average to below average
Wow sushi while it can be get reasonably priced it’s mostly a filler variety ime
Yuzuki can get real pricey real quick. Rolls have been mid. While sushi sets have been good. Eyeing some of their cooked items donburi (some look very enticing)
Looking for feedback and shared experience. I will update this list as have been at it for a while
Oroshi on College has upscale sushi take-out. I found it pretty good.
I always liked Japango, but I have not ordered take-out or delivery.

Thanks I tried it they have a bit of makeup and I found their ika inedible. I think I shared my feedback on them a while back.

Shinobu in Lawrence Park is my favourite but I don’t know if they do take-out, and it isn’t close to Yorkville or downtown

Has anyone tried yuzuki as their donburi looks enticing (can get very pricey) though I can get a omakase at sushi umi for lunch at some of the donburi prices.

Didn’t know they offered takeout. I enjoyed my dinner at Yasu. Though with my work schedule delivery or late lunch early dinner are the only viable options. Thanks for sharing I recall a similar offering at Saito during peak covid days. That fared well as around the corner from moi.
