Between rain and later flood damage from multiple hurricanes many NC farmers were already hurting. The shut down is making a bad situation much worse. The impact will be felt by consumers for at least a year. Hopefully the farmers will still be there.
This was a bad year for NJ & PA Farmers. All of the seasons were late & short. Lots of crop damage from weather. & the soy bean farmers got totally killed.
