Currently a small but growing chain in CT. but well worth trying. They have 5 different levels of heat and I prefer the mild so I don’t buy it for its spiciness (I find even the medium to be spicier than I care for). It’s everything a (fried) chicken joint should be. A bit pricey but the portion is also about 2x the size of popeyes. The slaw is as good as You can find. It’s far better than most commercial and any homemaker would be hard-pressed to make a better one. Even the pickles have enough vinegar kick to make them an essential to the whole sandwich.What they call “rob” sauce completes the picture.
Their chicken is sort of meh, but damn, their Banana Puddin’ is to die for.
