Has anyone tried Slice and Pie on 14th street?

Some Italian website rated it #2 slice in the USA: (https://www.50toppizza.it/referenza/slice-pie-2/). Their own website is https://www.sliceandpie.com. And they have a Detroit slice too.

I completely forgot about this place! I tried it once before a show at the Source Theatre. Perfect when you don’t have much time. Although it is billed as a carry-out, I ate my slice there. Limited seating. I had low expectations.

I was very surprised. And indeed impressed. I got a NY slice. It was as good as could be expected under the conditions. I am not often in the market for a slice in that location, but I’d happily go back.

I’ll definitely check it out again. It’s not super convenient for me but it’s convenient enough that if it’s a nice day and I really feel like walking, I can go over there.
