Grateful for having a roof over our heads, reasonably clean running water, access to good & healthy food, being in reasonably good health, my PIC, our adorable cat, and the best friends one could ask for.

Grateful for the community here, for starters. Also thankful to be cozy on the couch this T’Day, with husband and the pup, getting ready to cook a chill meal.
Also looking forward to dog show on TV and pie later. Possibly a smidge too excited about pie.
That, too. A lovely source of information, and many kind folks.
I find it important to occasionally reflect on one’s haves — immaterial & material, when we spend so much time thinking about our wants.
We are a very lucky bunch here.
Thankful for the quiet of my own home on a dreary, rainy Thanksgiving Day.
REALLY thankful I don’t have to drive in the rain.
Thankful I’m in my comfy clothes all day. (I was invited to my sister’s SIL’s house, but declined. Wasn’t much in the mood for socializing.)
Thankful that get to make what I want and eat when I want as well.
Thankful for the ability to afford and make what I want when so many go without.
(Sort of) thankful for my health, which has been pretty wonky recently, but I’m still kickin’ it at 66yo.
Thankful for modern medicine to keep me going.
Thankful I still have a pretty decent-paying job, so I still have insurance to help take care of things.
Thankful for the knowledge of this community and the occasional laughter with the HOs.
And even though I have to wait on them hand and foot, I’m thankful I get to live with two very handsome young men without anyone batting an eye at how scandalous I am.
Grateful that whatever I have is always more that enough.
Today I am most thankful for the sunshine. It make everything seem better. Today and all year I’m thankful for my good health, my home and my family. And all you wonderful HOs always brighten my day even if the sun doesn’t. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving.
oh wow, what beautiful cats who look so relaxed and happy and engaged.
We send my husband’s sister cards every year for her birthday and mother’s day from her cat Lucy. Our son writes on the cards that he’s happy to help his cousin Lucy celebrate her mom. Then he draws a beautiful pencil picture.
Thank your for sharing your beautiful cats with us!
I am grateful for:
The wonderful man I started dating earlier this year
My mom getting to reunite with relatives she hadn’t seen in years
The (emotional) support of my dad and stepmom
My assistant at work, who did an awesome job this summer when I was out sick
All the good people (both friends and family) that are in my life
