Did you do anything exciting on New Year’s Eve??
We were kind of boring and didn’t do much on New Year’s Eve. My girlfriend is originally from New York and wanted to watch the ball drop in Times Square. I was able to get a feed through the ROKU channel and stream it for her. Although it was only 10:00pm here (we are in MST) when the ball dropped in Times Square, it still felt like the new year had arrived.
We stayed up until 1:00am until the Pacific Time Zone rang in their new year, then we went to bed.
Although we had some challenges in 2022, it wasn’t that bad. We hope 2023 will be a bit better.
Actually, I’m retired and sleepless, I’m usually still up at midnight. NYE was one of the few nights I was asleep before midnight and didn’t feel that I missed anything. I fixed myself a drink (rare for me) in the late afternoon and had some snack/ appetisers too. I’m near nyc but have never been to time square on nye and I’m sure I never will. Here’s hoping 2023 is a better year.
