What are your tips for mooncakes in LA
we make them at our restaurant
have not bought mooncakes in over a decade
either make them, or get them simply as gifts (or more likely re-gifts)
mooncakes suck anyways

I love them! Well, I love 1/4 of one, then I’m over it. Luckily, I was given 1/4 of a mooncake on my way out of Congee Dim Sum this afternoon. So I’m good!

Me, too! Lotus seed paste filling, no eggs. I’ve been eating 1/4 of a piece over the last 2 wks and am pretty much out of mooncake.
