Happy Hour Nosh Deals - Houston

Inflation you know. I’m suddenly interested in good happy hours. This week I went for the first time to Caliente fronting BW8 in Town & Country. The $6 margarita was a little sweet for me but certainly not lacking in tequila. The happy hour flauta was filled with chunks of grilled chicken, cheese, jalapeños and a few other things. It was made with flour tortillas as were the enchiladas, so that was disappointing for me.

Pre-Covid, Brio in the same center had amazing happy hour deals, excellent thin pizza, burgers, and lots of other options for $5 a pop. I haven’t been lately though.

Union Kitchen practically gives food away at happy hour. Went there recently with folks and had 3 large appetizer plates and 2 bottles of wine and the bill was less than $50!

Where else can I try for cheap eats?
