As for casa lingua, a few select flower choices (including a wonderful infused variety) will make an appearance throughout the day — which is admittedly not unusual.
Since edibles don’t affect us, dinner will be cannabis-free.

'Tis a celebration of spring at Harters Hall.
Asparagus to start. Roast Cumbrian lamb shoulder, roast spuds, peas, carrots, mint sauce (home grown) . There may be cheese - a “tasty” Lancashire and a Red Leicester are in the firdge. Dessert - sticky treacle pudding bought from Jo at the farmers market, with cream
Well, since weed is not our thing, we’re having a couple of lovely Easter meals today. First up was my wife’s Easter bread, loaded with dried fruit, marzipan, and custard (using Bird’s custard powder). We had that with Fortnum & Mason’s Royal Blend tea as an early afternoon treat. It’s enormous and we’re just 2 people, so we’ll be eating it for a while. Lamb shoulder, stuffed with green garlic and cloves of regular garlic, is currently slow roasting in the over for supper; it’ll be served with barley and roasted eggplant.
So far, festivities included a fun trip to the ER for a sliced thumb & having to cancel a visit to one dispo, as there was no way I was going to make it out of there before they closed. Another dispo was thankfully open later, so I could make some celebratory purchases — some of which are bound to dove into after this comically stupid day.
Ow! I’m sorry. That sucks. But at least you have dispensaries. Not only for recreational fun but for pain management. Pain management has been on my mind since I tried a gummy that actually wiped out my pain and made me decide it’s time to pursue the medical option which is apparently a thing here.
Signing up for a consultation was part of my celebration.
I swear though: visits to the US, whilst otherwise to be avoided, do offer particular joys. (Also bagels. I miss good bagels so much.)
@Hunterwali Thankfully, medical cannabis has been available in my state since 2018, and it’s offered some relief, tho pain management isn’t one of them, unfortunately.
I hope you can get a prescription, since it seems to work for you so well
