Hainan Chicken House Sunset Park [Brooklyn]

We had an opportunity Monday night to revist Hainan Chicken Houlse with a globetrotting houseguest https://www.hainanchickenhouse.com. The food as in the past was delicious and they now have a bar as well (dont remember from before) Food is nyonya style (singapore/malaysian fusion created by a mixed chinese coastal and malay community) offered by a talented chef team and we and our guest were very happy
Apologies for onlly whipping out my phone/camera after some of the dishes were already partially eaten:
two meat combo, poached chicken and roast pork belly with two balls of delicious chicken rice and the traditional sauces (ginger-green chile, red pepper with ginger and dark sweet soy/hoisin (I think)

Char kway teoh, a little more dark soy than the last time

Our guests choice, Nyonya curry chicken a nice chicken curry (not pictured)
Delicious sauteed watercress ( could have eaten 2 servings of this on my own, great wok hei

And a creative dish that really worked, spectacular burrata paratha with red dal, herbs (including dill) salad and sambal. I thought the paratha, which was amply filled with burrata would be soggy in the accompanying dal, but not so.
