H-Mart: dramatic difference between lobster prices...

Went to visit H-Mart on Central Park Ave. and noticed in the seafood department a giant tank of stacked lobsters selling for $4.99 a pound, while on the other side of the aisle there were large tanks with lobsters priced at about $14 a pound. What’s up? Why the dramatic difference in price points?
On closer inspection I noticed none of the lobsters in the ‘cheap tank’ were moving. Where they dead, hence the price?

I have no problem with H Mart but I have been hearing more complaints lately. About bad shellfish, service issues, all from patrons. And, they are proceeding with their new store further down Central Park Ave. in Yonkers…

Any word yet on when that one is opening? I was over there last weekend but there was so much traffic, I didn’t feel like turning into that shopping center to see if there was info on the sign.

I haven’t heard anything in months about the Yonkers H-mart. Last I heard was late Fall. But Winter or spring may be the reality. I’ll see what my friends know and post.
