**"Gyu-Kaku, Times Square, Richmond Hill"** - An over-the-board Japanese BBQ feast that featured an impressive array of meat choices!

First time visiting this business entity with near hundred branches scattering all over North America. ( 20 alone in California! ). Good quality meat in various marinade for raw flame barbecuing paired with a range of superb tasting dipping sauces!

Service was friendly and attentive. Ventilation was excellent and efficient resulting in a smokeless indoor environment!..Though same cannot be said about the expelled air circulating the shopping plaza! Ha! 😃

Our party of 6 shared multiple plates of these dishes and ingredients:

  • House salad ( resembling a salad Nicoise but with Japanese ginger dressing! )
  • Spicy Tofu Chigae Soup
  • Beef sukiyaki Bibimbag
  • Gyu Sushi
  • Fried Pork Gyoza
  • Baked cheese corn
  • Edomame

  • Prime Kalbi Beef Ribs ( Sweet soy marinade )
  • Harami Skirt Steak ( Miso marinade )
  • Filet Mignon ( Salt & Pepper )
  • Prime Sirloin ( Sweet soy tare )
  • Garlic Sirloin Beef ( Miso Marinade )
  • Pork Belly ( Shio )
  • Garlic Shrimp
  • Ox-tongue ( Salt & pepper )
  • Prime Angus short beef ribs ( Sweet soy marinade )
  • Assorted Vegetables

Looks amazing!

One of these opened close to where I live (suburban Kansas City) last year. Always a good experience.

Wow! A response to a Toronto board all the way from Kansas City!! Nice to make your acquaintance!

I think Kay and I ordered at least this much on our first trip to Gyu Kaku in Arlington VA. Maybe we should be worried?
