[Griffintown] [Little Burgundy] recs

My friend is visiting Montreal in the near future.

In addition to Joe Beef and Foxy, which I have already recommended, which restaurants, pâtisseries and coffee shops would you recommend in Griffintown and Little Burgundy?

Any reason to restrict themselves to those neighborhoods?

Atwater is right in there, Westmount is adjacent, and downtown isn’t too far.

They will be staying in that neighborhood.

That particular neighborhood has a lot of upscale restaurants and new restaurants, so I went with a dedicated thread.

I did let her know about Atwater, as well as my favourite spots on the Plateau and in Mile End, which would be a 15 to 20 minute taxi from where they will be staying.

La Bete a Pain for delicious baked goods
Bagels le Trou for Montreal-style bagels that aren’t Fairmount or St. Viateur (very tasty)
