My friend is in Granada. Which are your favourite restaurants and bars?
Does anyone have a favourite place for bocadillos?
Bocadillos can be found at any neighborhood bar and I don’t have a favorite but if your friend likes wine, Taberna la Tana is the city’s best wine bar/bistro. But one must either reserve or be at the door when it opens at 8:30
The same family runs La Botillería in the same area, which is more of a sit down gourmet restaurant.

Another nice wine bistro, Taberna Malvasía. Yet another, Taberna Catavinos.
We also go to the bars of the restaurants Oliver and Cunini on the Plaza de la Pescadería for tapas. And just a reminder that Granada is the land of the complimentary tapa given with each drink order. So he/she should order her drink first, see what complimentary tapa appears along with his/her drink before ordering another tapa.
For fried fish, pescaíto frito, Los Diamantes with 4 locations,
For the south’s finest crustaceans with prices to match, there’s FM but outside the city center.
It has cult status.
St Germain is a very dependable creative tapas bar near the cathedral.
Very helpful. Thank you, @Maribel.
These are the places I have saved in my google maps. Reading maribel’s post, I was probably ‘inspired’ by her!

I forgot Puerta del Carmen, another solid tapas spot near the Town Hall, Ayuntamiento.
Yes, I remember that restaurant, Maribel. Very good memories!!
Obviously @Maribel doesn’t seconding but both diamantés and taberna la Tana were favorites of ours on our last visit to Granada.
Thanks!
Good to know you enjoy both Los Diamantes and Taberna la Tana, two of my favorites!
