After the rain, hail and snow of Wednesday, the sun was shining this morning. So, we were out and about and called at the Battered Cod for lunch. This was our first chippy meal since last autumn. We then walked up to the nearby Walter Stansby Memorial Park to find a bench in the sun and watch the world pass by while we ate. Generous portions of cod & chips. Perfectly fried fish – crisp batter and big flakes of fish. Good chips. What a feast! What a treat!
