Tried the relatively new Futago Udon for lunch last week. I was by myself and a bit pressed for time so I just tried one of the core udon offerings (Curry Fried Chicken Udon). I am not an udon expert by any means but I enjoyed my bowl thoroughly. The noodles were had a nice firm texture and the chicken was juicy yet crispy enough to hold up to the curry broth. The broth was the perfect compliment to tie everything together without being too think or overwhelming. Overall a satisfying meal on yet another chilly and damp spring day.
The space is comfortable (not cramped) and team service is efficient. I look forward to trying more of their menu, udon and beyond. The menu and daily specials offered a much more broad selection than I expected.
