Oh wow, that’s too bad. Did they offer any more information why they were closing? Wondering if they might resurface somewhere else.
I noticed on Tuesday morning that Google said they were “temporarily closed”. I happened to be heading Formaggio-ward later that day and noted that all their window posters (various menu items) were gone. Then I saw one of the two owners “Benny” (the other was “Jenny”) dashing out carrying a stack of kitchenware and I chatted briefly. He said “it was too much work” which doesn’t suggest that they will be reopening anywhere else.
When I walked by this afternoon, they were offering dishes/kitchenwares for free outside the door, which also suggests that they’re not planning to open again elsewhere. A bummer - they had some delicious noodles!
Grab anything good?
Alas, my Cambridge-sized apartment cannot hold any more fun dishes, so I had to pass!
I caught a post by the owner(s) on RedNote saying they took it on as a learning opportunity and have since found that it was way too exhausting to run a restaurant.
They are returning to jobs in non-hospitality business and may reopen in states with warmer climate down the road.
