Frisco and surrounds

Besides Hutchins BBQ, which was spectacular, what are the other must eats in the area? Thought Pizzeria Testa was really good for neapolitan pizzas. Yama Izakaya in Plano looked promising but was pretty bad.

No texan here, but sure did like the fajitas at Glorias, kind of a local chain there…

I know people call it Frisco, but San Franciscans do not like it.

As a guy who recalls when the best restaurant in Frisco, TX was the DQ, it is probably worthwhile to drive on into Big D.

What do you have against DQ, an American institution!

Frisco, Tx in the beginning was an upscale refuge for people leaving Dallas in droves. From what I hear not so anymore. And yeah, what’s wrong with DQ?

Good to see some activity on this board!!

Now on to those recommendations!

I don’t think you’ll find much info here. Think I’m as far north as you’ll get and I’m no help. But who knows.

Nothing! It’s the Texas stop sign.

“DQ - That’s what I like about Texas.”

If you’re from Texas, or ever spent more than an hour in a Texas airport, you’ll probably have that jingle rattling around in your head for the next day or so.

It is not as common as it used to be, but you are right. If Whataburger had a jingle, we would become the Ear Worm State.
