Our son was a big fan of Friendly’s growing up.
My favorite after-movie “meal” when I was a teen was a Reese’s Pieces sundae and a Tab. Because a diet soda will definitely mitigate the damage caused by a giant tub of ice cream, hot fudge, peanut butter sauce and whipped cream.
ha! I remember those served at many a table!
Our son dug the x-tra long hot dogs with their signature top split bun. I was into the grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches and my wife, the patty melt. While we did enjoy the ice cream, it was the basket fries we shared as far back as 22 years ago…not all that long ago!
The closest location to our home was just turned into a mega Starbucks after many years a vacant ex-Friendly’s restaurant.
I recall liking the burgers.
