I had asked on CH: “Now that Chicken Holiday at Routes 79 and 516 seems to have closed, I need a new place to get fried chicken. I know this is not exactly haute cuisine, but what I liked about their fried chicken was that there was no breading, seasoning, etc.–just fried chicken. Everyone else seems to think chicken needs to be coated with something. Any suggestions? I’m looking for a place for a quick meal, so I’m hoping to find something within five miles of this location.”
I got a few suggestions, but haven’t tried them (too far, etc.). However, Crown Fried Chicken on Route 9 and Ernston Road in Parlin seems to have basically what I am looking for.
