Haha very true!!!

I think even day old cobbler/crisp the filling can be a bit thick if eaten room temp, reheating takes it back to the just baked texture usually.
Sounds like that certainly wasn’t a dealbreaker for your guests ;))

My gal defrosted strawberriee she picked in June and made a quickbread by spooning and then swirling the fruit in the batter. Kept the bread moist and flavorful.
