Very real and very sad. I’m glad the author(s) did not mince words.
Independent restaurants, cafes and the like lift the quality of life in our communities.
Here in my town, the local eateries have provided food, a warm place, and a kind word after many a snowstorm or hurricane-caused power outage. I don’t want to imagine an “after” without them, so we’ll do what we can to support them.
