[France] Michelin 2022 is out!

Paris Report
Thank you all for your advice and recommendations! By way of feedback here are some of our Parisien experiences that were tempered by what was available over the long weekend we were in Paris during the August holiday period.
Friday - Cena
We ate at an ‘outside’ table on a balmy evening and were well looked after by attentive staff. The food was non-traditional and interesting though the portions weren’t large which suited us having just arrived after a long flight. A pleasant night.
Saturday - Montee
Best meal we had in Paris. Fairly unpretentious surrounds (people at the next table in shorts and T shirts!) but really interesting food - French with a Japanese influence - and very well executed. BTW the knockout meal for us in France was similar in style but next level - Assa in the Loire Valey at Blois - outstanding experience!
Sunday - Grand Brasserie
Disappointing. The welcome was perfunctory and the Cote de Boeuf was more fat (not well-rendered) than protein. Maybe we should have crossed the road to Bofinger…
Monday - Chez Monsieur
The highlight was the Blanquette de veau which was very well executed but just got the feeling the staff would have preferred to be on holidays with their friends!
Sorry if this all sounds a little negative but having been to Paris a dozen times over the last 30 years (it’s a long way from Australia) i just get the feeling the cuisine hasn’t advanced as much as the rest of the world…
